Amanah operates a verified register and introduces households to housekeepers and nannies. It is a matching and coordination service, delivered as software.

Amanah is not a recruitment agency, does not supply labour and does not place domestic workers. Contract, medical, visa and sponsorship are executed by a MOHRE-licensed Tadbeer centre, as required by Federal Decree-Law 9 of 2022.

If you employ someone you met here, you are the employer. Amanah is not the employer, not a party to the employment contract, and not a joint employer.

A profile marked verified means we have carried out five specific checks: sighted the passport, confirmed the Emirates ID and visa, telephoned two previous employers, interviewed her in person, and confirmed medical clearance through a licensed partner.

It means those five things were done. It is not a prediction of how someone will perform in your home, and nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of conduct, suitability or length of service.

Biographical detail on a profile is what the helper told us and what our checks corroborated. Where a check did not corroborate something, it is not published.

Membership grants access for a fixed term stated at the point of purchase. It does not renew automatically, and no card is stored.

Membership buys access to contact details and the ability to send messages and request interviews. It does not reserve anybody, does not guarantee a reply, and does not guarantee a hire.

The register changes. People are hired, withdraw, or pause their listing. The size of the register on the day you join is not a term of the membership.

You may cancel within fourteen days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not yet revealed a helper's contact details. Once contact details have been released the access has been used and the fee is not refundable.

If we suspend or close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of the term.

If we close your account for a breach of the conduct rules below, no refund is due.

Contact a helper about work. Do not use the register to solicit anything else.

Do not ask a helper to work before her paperwork is in order, do not ask her to work on a visit visa, and do not ask her to leave a current employer without notice.

Do not pass a helper's contact details to anybody else. They were released to you.

Do not screen by anything other than the work. Requests framed around race or religion will end the account.

Do not ask a helper for money, and do not accept money from her. If she is asked for a fee in Amanah's name, tell us.

Amanah does not charge a helper to apply, to be vetted, to be listed, or on being hired. This is not a promotional position; it is a term of this agreement and of UAE law.

The optional visibility badge is charged monthly and buys position in search results only. Whether a helper appears on the register at all depends on the five checks and nothing else. She may stop paying at any time and her listing stays where it was.

A helper may withdraw her profile at any time, without giving a reason, and it comes down the same day.

Once we have introduced you to someone, arranging the engagement privately in order to avoid a coordination fee is a breach of these terms, and the fee remains payable.

This clause exists to protect the cost of vetting, not to bind anybody to us. It does not restrict who a helper may work for, and it does not apply to anyone you already knew.

Messages sent through Amanah are stored and can be read by our team if either party reports a problem. We do not read them otherwise.

We may hide a message and suspend an account over harassment, deception or a demand for money.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will say why.

You may close your account at any time. What happens to your data afterwards is set out in the privacy notice.

Amanah is liable for its own service — that the register is available, that verification was carried out as described, and that your data is handled as the privacy notice says.

Amanah is not liable for the conduct of a household or a helper towards each other, for an employment dispute, or for a decision either of you takes after an introduction. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may change these terms. A change that affects a membership already bought does not apply to that term.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction.
